The Future of The Meadows

The future of The Meadows is bright! The property was purchased in summer 2021, but Carissa has been scheming away since 2020 on how to turn this business into a hub of creative activity.

In this image, the red outline indicates the approximate full property line, a total of 25 acres. This is the most exciting part, the endless possibilities with all that space! The yellow circle on the righthand side is the main four-bedroom farmhouse, two-bedroom carriage house, and future artist studio/event space. The shaded yellow circle will be the site of at least three small cottages to allow for more people to stay on the property. The goal is to be able to house up to 10-15 people on the property at any one time.

The yellow dotted line crossing the middle is the approximate pathway that folks would follow to access the Trans Canada Trail that butts up against the property. For now though, the trail can be accessed by just a short walk down the road.

Carriage House

Previously a garage, this 20’x30’ building will be renovated to be a two bedroom home for Carissa. The second bedroom allows for workshop facilitator’s and personal guests to visit The Meadows.

Artist Studio

A future building on the property will allow for several artists to work at once as well as be able to teach workshops. It will also be a gallery and event space. This floor plan is modeled after the current structure located on the property (20x40’), but unfortunately, the building is not salvageable.
